In honor of Joaz unilaterally promoting the big EZ to 4d  just to make his tournament tables look nice (the sound of all that sand running out of the bag is most distressing), I am offering the following challenge to the first lucky contestant ranked 1k to 3k:
Handicap 2
Reverse komi: 15 points for 1k, 25 points for 2k, 35 points for 3k

Any takers?

This sounds pretty cool actually. I'm 1k, shall we dance?

Done. Can you set us up? I have to run off to a few hours of meetings here.

Edit: I set us up as #131.

You seem to be doing rather well for a 3D. In your game against Topazg, whose latest rating on KGS as Johndoe69 is 2D, you won by resignation in a mere 128 moves. A quick count shows you to be ahead by at least 30 points. I think that is great play for a 3D.

Also, your comments in the game analysis forum suggest something greater than 3D strength.

And, you list your own rank as Japanese 6D. Converting according to this table, http://senseis.xmp.net/?RankWorldwideComparison, you would be at least KGS 5D.

Don't worry, be happy! I was joking.

Edit: Actually I would never have claimed that my incompetence with the clock running carries over to turn-based Go, but Graham forgot to ask! ;-)
