Next move is move 43. I'll note it in the text before the diagram from now on. |

Sorry Drewch, I thought I'd posted this many hours ago but I'd gotten distracted by one of the kids.
I would like to do something like:
I also am trying to use the high one-space jump in response to the knight's move approach to 4,4 so I want more experience using it. 2 in the diagram is painful though for me to do it. So I might try the same idea except with a knight's move instead of a one-space extension. This may be a serious blunder. |

If he plays somewhere here it would be a huge move, so I should probably invade here. |

I considered this but I think the corner is just too big and too greedy as well as too symmetrical. I don't like symmetry in this game.
So I went for an extension/pincer instead. I prefer this move I think it works well with my group in the lower right and while it still encourages a san san invasion I think it works better with the overall board by extending from my strength in the lower right. It also pressures him to do something. A small knight's approach to the top right would be a big mistake by him here I think. |

This isn't the ideal play but I did need to invade the right and I think I will still be okay even though this is a bit close. |

Let the fighting commence! Possible continuation:
I don't like white much here, I feel he is a bit overconcentrated in the top right. |

I feel that I can tenuki here. This move is a vital point locally for both of us I think. Compare with:
I also dislike pushing from behind or pulling here despite making fourth or third line territory because of the marked stone below:
My instincts may be wrong though. |

Another vital point I think. Again, sente. a next to block the invasion:

The move order was out by one. Correcting in this diagram.
Protects invasion point, secures some territory, invites him to jump ahead. |
