Hello again. Below is a game in which I took 3 stones of handicap and my human opponent took White. I won by 10.5 points, but I may have played rather mildly; in accordance with the spirit of handicap stones I played a moyo game, but there may have been better plays to keep White on the defensive. ( :b4: is suspect, as it allowed :w5: @ C13 and I had to go into the corner.) Much obliged in advance for your comments.

The handicap stones are not moyo stones. It may happen sometimes, but that is not their real nature.

They are attacking stones. :rambo:

Do you believe that I did enough attacking in this game? Or did I let White get off too easy? I tend to play moves like :b12: in accordance with the 3rd Golden Rule, "Get strong before attacking!" Also, I don't like to get into fights too early in the game, as my opponent can end up getting outward influence.

:b50: Maybe this seems natural, but you should be a bit suspicious. You end up with a "small gaps" position. I would look at L3 here for a different game (looking for a double attack).

:b54: At J8 is normal. White ends in sente? Black's attack hasn't achieved much yet.

:b64: One point higher for efficiency.

:b70: You can play tenuki, also.

:b74: looks too simple. I would try the L9 peep. Assuming White connects, J10 is a large-scale attack.

First, :b12: is not strong. It is a big play, but does not build any strength.

Second, early fights do not mean that White gets outside influence. The way you played in the top left corner gave White some outside influence.
