My last game, i'm playing as White. I'm on a little slump right now, always doing some bad mistakes. So i decide to change things a little in my games, i noticed that in most of my games i tend to try to play more for influence and the center. I wasn't doing that on purpose but now i'm trying to make that a part of my game. Any tips and criticism will be well recived. Thanks in advance.

Hi Wellington,  Not a good combination with his 2 existing keima stones (  &  ).( J17 is one joseki move for B; not here. See  . ) You help him fix his shape ( see above ). Joseki ( re: , ). If you want to build a wall here, first peep D8, then D6. If you push here, you'd better have a plan to cut.Proverb: push-and-cut. Let's see if you cut afterwards...  ...Nope. If you don't plan to cut, or if the cut is bad for you,then don't push with -- the net result here isyou reduced your own liberties.  Mistake. Can you find a better sequence for W ? ,  Same problem as above. ( Re: , . )In other words, your plan should be to push through with  at B11.Otherwise, your exchange of -  only reduced your own liberties. ( Re: , . ) Why. Not the right feeling for this shape. H11. J10. Take. If you had simply captured the 2 stones with , this move would not be an atari. 112 Just M13.
