Hi Ades,

:b17: A bit unusual.

:b21: Not good. W goes up to E11 -- this exchange is good for W.

:w22: E11.

:b23: E11 big.

:w24: Strange to tenuki.

:b31: C6 -- Connect in sente -- why not ?

:w32: H9.

:w50: H6 -- you're dead. W closes you completely.
The combination ( :b45: , :b47: , :b49: ) = you die.

:w58: H8. You get the atari+atari because W missed H6,
but W is OK.

:b59: Unreasonable. You already got lucky W missed H6 --
W gives you a chance to get out; you must take care of your huge weak group.

:w60: W can continue with J9, etc. Your big group will suffer for a long time.

:w66: kibitz: what are you two talking about. :)

:b75: :-?

:black: 111+113: Classic bad shape: see Toothpaste.

:white: 114 G9.

:white: 126 H17.

:white: 148

:black: 155 One of the best moves this game. :)

:white: 186 kibitz. R13: B is dead shape; no need for R13.
Once again, W should close B completely ( N13, etc. )

Hi EdLee thankyou for the reply, i’ve got few point to ask if you dont mind

B17 – his opening was kinda unusual (atleast for me) so i was trying my normal approach just one line higher (following his stone)
Q: whats the best way in reacting to unusual move made by opponent? Sometimes their move are so unusual and whether it is ruining my play or its wasting my time to identify the move.

B31 – i just realized that and made that move at B33

W50 – my point was to create potential for later game
Q: was it unethical and dishonest to just wait for opponent to make mistake, should i resign by the time that group was dead?

B111 – i was warned a lot about that toothpaste especially by you, im gonna focus on that for now and maybe searching real-game example would help me. im kinda troubled on the definition because english is my native language

There's no way to completely answer this question because it depends on the board.
It's our level -- we just strive to play the best move we can find, just like any other move.

For :b17: , White has :w2: and :w4: at 5-4,
and there are basic 5-4 josekis, so you can study them.

Depends. At these levels, it's OK sometimes to play out more -- as you can see, both B and W made many basic mistakes throughout the game, and W killed himself.
