https://online-go.com/game/19545744 https://online-go.com/api/v1/games/19545744/sgf White won, but for playing a 14k it went quite well for me, I think. (I mostly play 14-16k or SDK, because they have pity on me and accept my challenges. Talking from these experiences, I thought he was very distracted. We both left business unattended and I nearly overlooked I can capture his group!) He would not do a review, though. Would you, please? (I'm following Ed's advice to play/lose 500 games in 12 months.)

Congratulations on your game! Just a quick comment. There is a quirk of the corner that you might as well learn right now. lose 1 pt. of territory. That seem strange, because White threatens to capture the two Black stones in the corner. Please note that Black gets 2 pts. in the top left corner. But if Black passes she gets 3 pts. there. If Black passes, White can capture two Black stones. But after captures two stones, makes a snapback, capturing two White stones, for 5 pts. in the corner. Subtract 2 pts. for the two captured Black stones, and White's net score in the corner is 3 pts., as advertised. |

Thank you, Bill! I have tsumego where it says "Black to play. Play a snapback / throw-in." Then, thinking carefully, I'm going "So if I go there he goes there, I go there and atari, and if he beats I will even get a stone more!". Obviously I need to practice that... I got time-pressured 3 times near the end, so I tried to play faster when I only had these 30sec intervals, but using 10-15sec per move is still very blitz for me... This guy really should have told me why he did not play there I thought he had overlooked it |

Right?? Without a board I can't guess what would happen with his lower right group, but I think that one is stronger and will live. |

Yes that's correct! Other comment on your game: here are two basic bad shapes. Did one, or both of them occur in your game? |

Hi Jika, I'm just a Kyu player myself and really not that strong regarding 9x9, so please take my comments with a truckload of salt, but I hope I could point out a few ideas, that might help you in your next games http://eidogo.com/#t3aoZf2Q (sorry, the sgf-tag did not work somehow) |
