https://online-go.com/game/50295896 I am just not improving. I hate that I will have to start over again because nothing makes sense on the board to me. I can't get the sgf files to load from OGS so I have the URL at the top. I was white in this game. Let me know what you see. |

Forgive me if I'm making claims that are not rooted in truth and speculating about your state of mind. Others have reacted strongly when I do so but since you asked "what do you see" I respond: I see emotions taking over. By 70 you are no longer making rational assessments of the situation, not at your level. Leading up to that is a fair fight and I have given more technical advice on how you could have played more consistently, kept it simpler and stayed in the game. IF my assessment of what happened next is correct, my advice is: take a few good breaths, analyze the situation and try to make the best of it by playing reasonable moves, testing the opponent's ability to carry the game home. If he does, you can still resign. If you gradually come bacl, then there's a game again. Hope it helps - again, if I'm missing the mark, I apologize. |
