Post subject:  Applying what I've learned.

This is not a game review thread. This is a grattitude thread. I'd like to thank Joanz Banbeck, Topazg, MagicWand, Edlee, Bill Spight, and All others who commented and gave me advice on my fuseki problems and my previous review games. In addition, I started doing about twenty tsumego problems and bought an Essential Joseki Book that I've started reading, which has been most informative!

I'm posting this, because for the first time, I tried to apply all that I learned from you guys and all the Malkovitch games that I've been lurking on(magicwand vs araban, woot!) and this game is the result. My opponent was a 13kyu, so I'm sure that I'll have different results with a stronger player. I'm looking forward to that, too. For now, here's the game record. I'm really glad you guys took the time out to help me improve.

Now, on to more studying! Hurr... :study:

:edit: I'm white.

Congrats! If you keep playing like that you won't be 13k much longer :D .

Suggestion: Look at moves 5-7 on the top right and then look at this position you just posted here: http://lifein19x19.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3329:

Move 5 in aphelion's diagram was criticised in the other thread. It is bad again here, for the same reason.
