Hello everyone. I thought since metapearl is spamming this forum with games maybe if I throw one in it won't look so excessive <3 I appreciate any comments/suggestions that you can give me. A few questions in the sgf.

At move 12 you have two big sides, one top and one bottom: ...but you play in a smaller gap where you are sure to get attacked. There are several texxtbook approaches to the Chinese opening: ..and both of them are extensions off of your already existing positions. |

I feel like your bottom right group was neglected by both players for a long time. That shape you built has maybe 1/2 an eye. Black could have played somewhere in the N9 area, threatening your group and making a big box w/ the wall in the upper right. Even after you finally play in that area (your attach at Q9), I think if B had played the other hane you would have had some issues. Just my $0.02 |
