Post subject:  A game where I ran out of time

I ran out of time this game but I should have won. I have some comments below too.

Move:
8: This didn't really feel like a good approach but I felt like black was building up a lot of territory and I needed to do something. I wanted to attack the bottom side because I had a stone at Q10 and and the approach at C4 looked good, so I approached from the left and followed with move 10.
9: Definitely not the best move.
12: Playing at D5 doesn't look very good and I also wanted to destroy the bottom side. Additionally, this move felt like I was trying to connect to C6 so I thought he would play somewhere to secure the stone, allowing me to keep up my attack on the bottom.
19: I got lucky my opponent didn't play at D6
22: Felt a little premature because my stones were kind of thin but if I didn't keep up the attack I would have wasted the last 15 moves.
37: M3 seems better
37-49: Good sequence by my opponent. I didn't play too well and just tried to salvage what I could of the situation. I also should have played because it was sente.
52: That cut looked scary!
68: Should have played N2
76: Works but it was actually a misclick I meant to make a san ren sei
78: Maybe E14 was better? I thought if I played there though that he would invade my top right away. So, I put some pressure on his stone by pincering.
86: Didn't initially plan to save this stone but it was begging to be saved.
90: These stones aren't really that important for me. I'm really low on actual territory so I wanted to start getting more real territory!!!

By the end the middle groups should be seki so I believe that would put me on top if I didn't run out of time.

Greetings,
the position after six is two low wings from a star point. From this I coined the soon to be new maxim `A low wing chicken can`t fly.` Its very bad shape.
Your invasion idea is correct but, it should usually be the 3-3 point in this case.
Best wishes,
Buri

I agree with you :w8: at C6 is not very good.
I think :w8: at F3 (or F4) is better for two reasons:
- (D4-L3) is wider than (D4-C10);
- if B got F3 (or F4) himself, then his C10 stone would be a nice extension from his LL shimari.

Thanks for the comments you guys! Much appreciated. I would love a few more comments too. Additionally, I never mentioned that i was white, so....I'm white in this game.

W move 40 is bad shape and gets W into serious trouble when B finds the severe double-hane response. In very difficult fights like this, you have to try your utmost to find the best moves. Consider the descent to S5, which maximizes W liberties and threatens the corner. If B has to take time to defend the corner, allowing W to jump out to R7, the center fight suddenly becomes very good for W. This difference could easily decide the game. Of course you have to read out other B responses like R6, to make sure W does not get captured ....

I'm not great in the opening (or any other part of the game, to be honest), but 7 looks pretty normal to me.

Added a missing parentesis in your sgf. So Drago accepts it.
I wondered at 8 why you didn“t reduce before invading.

File comment: added a missing parentesis. Now drago reads it.
