Help Me Review

This is the first game I played with my uncle after spending a 2 months (leisurely) studying go in China. I usually get destroyed by him. But the game didn't go very well. I'm looking for where I went wrong. We both made a ton of mistakes because of time.

Just looking at the beginning, I have three suggestions.

1. It might help to play a few dozen games where you pincer automatically, with no regard to the board position or a larger strategic plan, just to see what pincering feels like. :w6:

is an odd move, which suggests you are afraid to pincer.
2. When black peeps at your connections, it's all right to connect once in a while. In fact, there is a proverb, "even an idiot connects against the peep". These are black's sente moves; unless you can read out a bigger move than staying connected or a way to make the connection irrelevant, you can connect without remorse.
3. Do you know about the lines? E.g. the line of defeat, the line of victory, and so on. You seem too eager to make second line moves, too early, and relatively indifferent to big third- and fourth-line moves.

My initial impression of your game is that you do not think in terms of 'light' vs 'heavy'. All of your stones seem to have roughly equal importance to you. I never see a move that implies a thought of "My group just got big enough that I cannot afford to lose it, therefore I shall make-a-second-eye / protect-the-cut / ensure-connection-to-the-center / some-other-essential-move right now."

As an example, look at the board at move 37. You have cutting points at C14, G3, and N4. Your 3-stone group on the left side group is heavy and in danger of being pincered. But you don't resolve any of these issues. You leave groups with weaknesses.

Consequently, when the fighting starts, you get chopped up and your stones die.
