Played on tygem as 11k. I usually don't take blitz seriously, but since it was a relatively close game, I'd like to see if there's any bad habit I should get rid of. (other than not play blitz...)

oh, thanks for pointing out moves 50-52, I tend to do that very often! A question though, on move 32 and 98, can we talk about broken shape when I just have 2 live groups separated? I think they are broken shapes when the groups are weak and you try to connect them. Here I didn't care about connecting, they're alive and I don't need to worry about the corner (m32) or the side (m98) I this case I see these moves as securing points rather making connections and let the opponent take the territory. B slides between 2 live groups but he is not making points. I understand the broken shape theory, but in this case it doesn't seem to make sense. Thanks for the help. |

Not a bad game. The most remarkable thing about it is how long big plays on the left side went unnoticed by both of you. ![]() PS: I glanced at Ed's comments. I like his move 24 even better than mine. |
