Hi, since I have not played for a couple of months, KGS ratd my 3d? initially and I'm slowly regaining my old rank. Today I've played a game against a 4k and won by 0.5 points. I'd be happy if someone could point out one or two things I should keep an eye on in future games. Kind regards, Michael |

I'm not much stronger than you, but I think your go could get a lot better if you use your time better ![]() A few comments on the opening:

I've only recently started playing and still have to control my urge to play fast and simply click on the first intersection that jumps into my eye. I think my biggest hurdle to become better is to take my time and think more strategically and read much more. Unfortunately, it's also the most difficult to tackle ![]() On the side, somehow (if you can say so after about 10 games) I jumped from a mid-6k to a weak 4k / strong 5k in the pause. Cheers, Michael |

I copied Emeraldemon's SGF, so his comments are still in here. Mine are prefaced with my initials. |
