My game inspired by Gu Li

Post by Uberdude »

Here's an OGS game of mine I found rather interesting, in which my play was inspired by a Gu Li game included below. But unlike Gu Li I managed to win rather than lose in yose ;-) . I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Wow, exciting game. I thought the yose was especially impressive as mine tends to be by guestimation.

The one thing that I found notable was - at around move 135 or so - how little the pros thought of the center, compared to amateur dans.

Thanks for posting.

There was a big difference though in that I was sealed in on the right, whereas Gu Li had access to the centre from there so it was a lot harder for black to make centre territory in the pro game.
