This is the first game I completely changed my style and tried to play very teritorial. Maybe too much ?

I think I could have lost because of big midgame blunders but my oponent made a bad exchange in the end of the game. (one kill for another and mine was bigger)
Anyway I think I have screwed up mostly in midgame, second in endgame and maybe in fuseki ?
I don't know about the fuseki because I never play teritorial like this.

So I would like to know what the biggest problems were in fuseki, begin midgame and endgame.
I personaly think my biggest blunder was H16 (mv 107) it should have been at G14. This would leave aji to attack rest of center.

Thanks a lot guys,

Otenki

I think you were ahead in the middle game and the exchange just solidified your lead. I think you gave up a few points in the endgame that you didn't have to.

Comments:

Move 9:
1) You can tenuki, and treat r13 or p17 as miai
2) If you later play p17 then r13 is way overconcentrated, would look better at r10
3) p17 kinda sorta puts a little pressure on the n17 group
I would probably tenuki and play e4 here. p17 or r6 or c9 look fine too.

Move 19:
f5 looks like a key point, it's where White's last move should have been. Of course hane at the head and foot is very nice shape but f5 is perfect for White now.

Move 45:
Feels small when the bottom right corner is still open. I don't like leaving the cutting point at k15. I feel your biggest midgame blunder was not playing k14 now.

Move 55:
You have a million more points of territory compared to White. If you get into the center you win. I would play at q8.

Move 79:
What happens if you play g5 here?

Move 107 at g14 may have been better, but you lived so it's hard to say how much you lost.

Move 135:
Everything is alive, time to look at the score (I'm terrible at counting BTW):
B has ~9 points in the bottom right
B has ~24 points on the right side and top right corner
B has ~24 points in the top left corner, and potential for a little more
B has ~11 points in the bottom right
total sum 68 points

W has ~45 points in the center
W has ~4 points on the top
W has ~6 points on the bottom
W has 6.5 points komi
total sum 61.5 points

B ahead by komi, W has sente

I think you were leading before the exchange (which favors you, but W did not need to give up the h4 stones)

Move 183:
Isn't o18 bigger endgame?

Move 185:
Do you need this move?

Move 187:
Could this be at p18 instead?

Move 193:
Did you consider q2 or q1?

Move 195:
Did you consider r2?

Move 203:
Do you need this move?

Move 209:
Can you skip this move? If not, why did you play move 199?

Move 214:
White can cut at g18.

Move 215:
You have to protect anyway, why play a 0-point sente move like 213?

Thanks a lot for your comments, very helpfull!

Howhever I don't agree with:

Move 215:
You have to protect anyway, why play a 0-point sente move like 213?

It is worth one point because white has to protect in his teritory right ?

Cheers,
Otenki

Right. My mistake. I blame it on a lack of coffee

More to the point, in response to 213 white can play G18...
