| Post subject: | 17k vs 7k, then 17k vs 2d |
This was a game between myself (Black, ~17k) and HAYABUSA (White, 7k). I know I made quite a few reading errors, but I tried to bail on them and play elsewhere when I saw myself running into a dead end. Other than the silly mistakes I made (especially early on in the corners), how could I have played better? If possible, I'd like to know what kinds of problems I could study to improve my reading in the situations where it was bad. Any other advice is welcome as well. Thanks in advance. Second game, between myself (Black, 17k) and CHINRYUHH (White, 2d): Another question: would it be more helpful to play against dan-level players while I am still DDK, or should I play with stronger (than me) kyu-level players for practice? |

You may learn different things in each case.or should I play with stronger (than me) kyu-level players for practice? At your level, I suggest you play, play, play. Experience is very valuable. |
