Move 45 (bad move): Did not spot the better ones. Why?
I think I have the answer: fear
fear is bad for decision finding and leads to focusing on one aspect only. fear related tunnel vision prevents me from perceiving other aspects of the position and leads to wrong decisions.
will try to use a plan if I feal fear:
check all aspects of the board
take time to find the move
minimum move candidates >3 (including tenuki)
doublecheck intuition and read a few moves deep (3

)
When I think of mistakes in the past quite a few are related to fear about the status of a lump of stones. Looking forword if I can control this. Funny that I never realized that fear and tunnel vision play a role in this, I never conciously perceive fear while playing go, it is just that it seems to subconciously damage my decision making.
