So I'm on a pretty vicious losing streak at the moment. I'll be a Kaya 12k tomorrow if this continues. But, I'm quite happy to say that it's not getting to me. I'm happily playing games not worried about losing and not trying to force wins. I'm trying to be much more aggressive and take sente more often, with all the usual blundering that this causes at the beginning. We'll see how things pan out, the wins will come, I'm pretty sure of that. :)

Yes, I think we both learned valuable lessons from that game. :)

I think playing go while tired is a bad idea, my losing streak continues unabated. It's starting to get at me a little, but I know I'm tired and not playing well so rationally these kind of streaks are to be expected. I've started working through 1001 Life and Death problems again, I badly need the reading practice.

21 game losing streak ended finally. That was getting depressing.

The game that ended the streak:

What I'm wondering is if the fuseki and middlegame are closer to what you were advising me to do or am I still being too passive with white?

A close one, with a nice complicated fight in the top right and a fair few blunders by me. Still happy enough with it. I missed a huge tesuji on the bottom in the yose which was pointed out to me after the game. I also messed up in the centre in the yose.

Still, I hope I'm getting closer to where I should be with a high handicap. Though I bottled it on move 142. :)

Are you talking about move 240? :)

Very nice, Ed, thanks. :)

I think that after the descent and the jump to the first line, that White must descend again.

Yes, it removed all the aji from the position. Thank you for the review. :)

Myself and Daal. Tough, tough game. I think I'm more 12k than 11k at the moment on Kaya.
