Good day to you, dear reader and future backseat critic.

Inspired by Ed's terrific status quo report on study goals, I decided to start an experiment.
What kind of experiment? The kind that corrects a logical flaw in most people's "study journal" logic. Usually, creators of these journals confuse "goal" and "wish". You can always "wish", but you have no control over the result. When you set a "goal", you should make sure you actually have control over the result.
People often wish to be 1d, 4d, 9d and outline their intent to study, when they should realize that they have no control over their rank.

How is this journal (realistically, hebdomadary) different? I outline attainable goals that also allow me to measure some form of pro-/regress.
I will log any surplus study to the best of my ability to recall them.

Week 1 (official start: Saturday, Dec 5th)

Goal--------------------------------------------------- Metrics
- to study tsumego for 1hr/day-------------------| N, n_correct, possibly "suggested difficulty" post-hoc
- to memorize professional games for 1hr/day-| N, derived measurements: T/game, possibly refined by moves/hr
- to play 1 even, slow game (30m+3x30s)-------| win/loss

Let's see how it goes. For now I'll establish a few baselines. :) I've never seriously practiced anything, so I'm curious to see what'll happen.
Is there a way to insert tables? I would prefer the above to be a clean table instead of this makeshift thing.

Hi SaiLens,

Other than a JPEG of a spreadsheet,
the next closest AFAIK is the [code] tags:
Code:
// 012345678901234567890123456789
// Fixed-width font, see ?
while ( Level < target )
{
    tsumego(); // :)
}
Good luck with your goals! :)
