Gomoto(B) style opening (My openings are not optimal, but always fun and good enough for Tygem 5d):

Move 15 should really be at a or b. (I don't like pincers. But in positions like this, it is not a matter of taste.)

Move 17 should be at b and misses a chance.
Move 21 is a shape error and should be at c.

Black has a nice advantage after the opening.
But move 33 shows no sense of attack and defense. A stone at f is the way to go and splits the white stones.

Move 37 made me start this review. All (bad) intuition and no brain. The Move has to be at g.
I played a shape, that I remembered from a 3-3 invasion. But in this position it is just dead wrong.

Or (and now something completly different in this game) why not play at f*ing f!!!!!
It seems Gomoto does not appreciate this delicate opportunity throughout this whole game.

Gomoto looses the game at 63. Winners play at k.
Enough stuff for today.

Lessons learned: It is not all about reading errors, stupid. How about playing a thinking man's game next time and improve your attack and defense, Mr. Gomoto?

And now, dear reader, it is your turn, choose your play:

a) Gomoto stop playing go, but your review is nice.

b) Nice game gomoto, but what`s up with your reviewing skills?

c) Nice work Gomoto!

d) Nice try bro, but you should really also think about ...

e) Playing with yourself is a Sin, but Alfie is Sin, so you are an imposter!
f) Self-flagellation gets E.Coli to where she wants to go, only possible because she has one of very few examples of a biological wheel, but you are not E.Coli so all it will achieve is a spiral of decreasing radius which will make you end up as a Singularity of infinite density and zero radius
g) Less than 10% of Goers are better than 5D, and no-one < 5D can meaningfully choose between a-e, so you are basically talking to yourself, which is the first sign of madness. The second sign is talking to someone who is talking to himself. And as there aren't any coordinates, no-one can say anything about where is better.
h) 9 and 11 are wrong. Master likes them, but Zero doesn't, and Zero dusted Master's backside.
i) Where's the .sgf? How can any of us Rueful Rabbits say anything without the help of our e-gurus, which only speak sgf?!
j) 39 is wrong because it's too far from its mates at the top (and only provokes 40.
k) 41 is wrong because it only provokes 42 which is what white wanted to do anyway.
l) what's for breakfast?

e) Moses told me already

f) a flagellar motor to provide some motivation to go where I want to go, why not
Image

g) Tygem 5D is not 5D :)

h) 9 and 11 are not only liked by master and zen, there also was a man named go seigen

and I think they are great fun to play!

j) 39 is wrong, I agree

k) 41, I believe, is good.

thanks djhbrown

4 legs are better than two; that's how you catch a haggis

R11 is the obvious target, and the white line is its path to its nearest friend.

So black should cut across that, without going too far from his own weak group on the right.

P10? - It follows the proverb "attack with keima"

PS: P9 fits a pattern, but P6 spoils that pattern, so P9 doesn't look right

PPS: another idea: to attack Q11, start a roundabout attack by leaning on P6 or O16; of the two, P6 looks more appropriate, because R6-R9 is a bit weak

After, say, black P7, black can consider sacrificing R6 to catch Q11 (or make profit by chasing it), because R6 isnt doing anything much.

PPPS: ... So i asked Leela. It fixated on P9 even though it thought E6 was better.

I asked Leela what it thought would happen after black P10 and it reckoned that it wasn't much of an attack, and after about 20 moves it wanted black to E6.

It didn't think much of black P7, ignoring it - which of course is what it should do, because P7 might look like a leaning attack, but it doesn't threaten anything (oops!), so white can tenuki and just jump out to P11.

So i don't know... black E6 is starting to look pretty good to me; if it's the start of a roundabout attack on R11, that's one heck of a long-distance roundabout, but maybe it's what's needed, as a direct attack on R11 doesn't achieve much.

PPPPS: Of course it's long-distance; that's what roundabout attacks are! E6 is the junction of white's strong cluster on the left and the weak one in the middle, which looks like a wall, but it's an eyeless wall, so it's not thick, it's heavy... Black E6 will induce white to jump out to, say, H7, and then black can press on it a bit more with eg K7, preparing for a splitting attack between white's middle and R11, across the white line.

PPPPPS: Oh my God (Alfie, Akhbar) i've caught the Gomoto disease of talking to myself!!... Still, at least when i talk to myself, the other person listens patiently, even if he has no idea what i'm talking about.

PPPPPPS:
