I am a Go player from Singapore. I am roughly 5dan in strength on KGS and represented Singapore several times in international and national Go tournaments in my youth. Just wanted to say hi ...

Did you play in the Iwamoto tourney on IGS back in around 2007 or 2008 ?

Nope , that wasn't me. Haven't taken part in any competition on IGS before ...

Sure ... I am putting together a book and blog on Go and Artificial Intelligence. And also learning how to program so I can work on Go AI and AI in general ..

I hope it consists of more than emailing the computer Go list and asking them how to program an AI
