Hello,
I was introduced to go as a teenager, but I never really pursued the game. A while ago I shifted my focus from miniature games to easy-to-pickup classic games such as go and xiangqi and decided to look for online resources to browze at work. I'm also going to look for local clubs in the Helsinki city area to check out.
I love the classic "Asian dualism" that is so apparent in go. You know, the old "easy to learn, difficult to master" thing. Besides boardgames I spend my time rocking out in two bands (guitar/vox and bass) so the shift from miniature games to simpler games made a lot of sense. I'm hoping to hone my logic skills and visualization with go.
Nordic players are free to hit me up for live games and general banter. Well everybody is but it would be neat to meet local players!
