Hey!

I'm living in Germany, around 4k KGS (although I don't play much these days) and maybe 10k IGS.

I don't usually post much, but I'll try to be more active in the new forum. :) The text under my nick on the left will probably say that I die in gote, so I will try to post more.
edit: Ha, I'm still a "beginner", so I won't be dying in gote for now. 8-)

Keep at it, and I'm sure you'll be dying in gote with the rest of us in no time. Anyway, the forum is still brand new so few users have gathered significant post counts yet (How many are dying in sente so far?).

You can check the memberlist and find out, or you can wait until you see one around.

Welcome, LR24!

Edit:
Oh cool, hadn't noticed I was one of them already.

Hey, I've meant to ask you before: Do you own the stones in your avatar picture? What are they made of?

I totally look forward to it

@karaklis: My forum stats say I had 0.3 posts per day, which made me wonder where all those posts came from. I guess it's mostly my threads with questions about more or less joseki plays and a few others.

@Chew Terr: Yeah, it's my first set of go stones. They are actually decorative glass stones, which is why they are not black and white. The "white" ones are a bit blue/green-ish. The stones are also rather small and irregular, and they have a flat surface. (kinda like chinese stones, but my stones are not flat) Come to think of it, since I got normal go stones I'm not using these anymore.
I attached a pic of the stones on my self-made, blurred-hoshi, crooked-lines go-board (which has grown up since I took the photo and is now an adult-goban (yes, really, it's grown some legs  )).

Oh and lol, please don't ask about the position on the board.
