So here I am, a 20 y.o. guy from Germany who loves Go :)
My first contact with Go was ( of course) Hikaru no Go. Quickly I decided to start with that game in the end of 2006 on DGS. But somewhat that wasn't the thing I was searching for so I stopped playing. Half a year later I read Hikaru again, and I registered on KGS in autumn 2007. I didn't take Go so serious at that time. After a year or so I was a SDK ( 8 kyu or something) and again I stopped playing. Now in 2010 I wanted to take it more serious and I went to a go club in the next city. Since then I have improved and I'm reading books and stuff to become some day a shodan :)
And I want to participate at some tournaments that will be in the next months.
Maybe we will meet there? ;) I'm always open for a game in between, giving a review or taking a lesson :)

Atm I have two accounts ( Galdorious 6k and Vandraren 5k) on kgs and I'm playing in the ASR League since three days.

Huh, what else? I dunno... :D I'm writing on a blog about my go experience, so if you are interested, please read ;)

Hey, Welcome to the forums. Nice seeing you here. I think I just finished a 3-4 month long game on DGS with you last month. My user id on there was Jordus, I believe the game record shows my name, Scott.

If you like tournaments, you can start with the tournament in Essen January 15/16.

Hier ist die Turnierausschreibung. Ich werde aller Voraussicht auch da sein. Vielleicht können wir uns treffen und werden evtl. sogar gegeneinander ausgelost. Ich starte da als 9k.

Ich hatte drüber nachgedacht daran teilzunehmen weils in meiner Nähe ist. Aber leider schreib ich Klausuren Ende Januar und muss lernen.... :/
Aber ich bin im Februar in Bonn und im März in Gießen. Vielleicht bist du auch da? :)

Gießen ist mir ein Stück zu weit weg, aber in Bonn werde ich voraussichtlich auch mitspielen (hängt noch von diversen Faktoren ab, die ich jetzt noch nicht bestimmen kann, aber bin mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit da).

Alles klar, können kurz vorher ja nochmal schreiben :) Ansonsten können wir auch gerne mal auf kgs ne Partie machen^^ Wie ich sehe hast du ja nen egf Rang, da kann ich mal testen ob ich auch als 8k oder so antreten kann :)
