I'd like to introduce you to two new players:
Django Aldous Wright
Gabriel Luis Wright
... who were born at 2am (UTC) on Wednesday 9th June. I have two sons!
(Before you ask, their mother rejected "Sente" and "Gote" for the names.

Congratulations, need to show the pics to my girlfriend, she'll freak out because both of them are so cute :3 Django sounds kinda funny, have the second names a special meaning (grandparents?) ? |

I assume Django was named after the great jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Or was he named after the high level Python web application framework? I'm guessing it's the musician because Gabriel is known to be a horn player Congratulations!

Congrats Tealeaf, that's fantastic news! I'm sure you'll be teaching them the twin skills of placing stones and doing cartwheels very soon. Also props to Mrs. Tealeaf.

Thanks! The names are all references to things that have meant a lot to Emily and me over the years. Django (Reinhardt) Aldous (Huxley) Gabriel (Garcia Marquez) (Jorge) Luis (Borges) ... and yes, cartwheels and joseki will both definitely be in their futures.

There is a very slight chance that they are identical, but that the egg split very early in their development. They certainly don't look identical when you see them, so it seems very unlikely that they are genetically. One other nice thing is that we met, very early on, another mother who was expecting twins. We kept in touch and became quite good friends. She also had her twins at 33 weeks, two days before we did, and the four babies are all lying next to each other in the hospital.
