I'm back! I thought this storm was going to be a lot worse than it ended up being. By the time it reached us it had pretty much downgraded to tropical storm weather. Kind of anticlimactic considering it was originally supposed to be a category 3 storm, but I know a lot of people have been negatively effected by it, so my thoughts go out to them. However, considering I'm right on the water, I figured we'd lose power like a lot of other people, but it didn't happen. And then there were a bunch of idiots running around in their underwear during the storm... Pathetic. Regardless, it was pretty much just a good dosage of rain and a wee bit of wind where I was at. According to reports though, some tornadoes touched down and caused damage to some homes. Again, I wish them the best (even though they won't read this, likely). Anyway, now that that's over, I can focus on getting the E2L rolling again! Actually, it's still hitting us at the time of post, but it's nothing bad. |
