Re: Cat pics
It's nice to finally be able to leave stones on the board to appreciate after finishing a game or study session.

Re: Cat pics
We got another cat recently so Falstaff has a friend. His name is Griffin. He is the orange one in the following photos.
The two cats get along. Sometimes they sometimes play very vigorously.
A missed left:
A solid right:
Despite the appearances, this is all play. Nobody gets injured.
Sometimes, if the camera gets too close, they will both stop in mid-fight and stare at you.

(Time for the cat lady to shine
)
The notorious cheater, always moving his stone whilst I was not paying attention! Always the cutie, using his famous kitteh-eyes to coerce me into letting it slide.

a daring new technique! by using their TAILekinesis, these fearsome felines were able to move the stone without opposable thumbs

Re: Cat pics
Falstaff is a cutie.
Here's Zelda, breaking in yet another go board acquisition...a folding 'vintage' kaya board I got to go with my vintage glass go stones and bowls.
Zelda could stand to be put on a diet, too, but I have two cats...Zelda would just hog all the food.

Re: Cat pics
In my office I have a cabinet of shipping supplies.
I think he's waiting until he sees a box addressed to the land where mice are slow, and he's going to stow away in it.

Re: Cat pics
Falstaff has cheekbones!
As he continues to lose weight, more anatomical discoveries are being made. He is now down to 17 pounds. Someday, I hope to find out if he has ribs.

Re: Cat pics
Here is Falstaff, showing off the barrel chest and lush fur typical of British shorthairs.
He is now down to 15 pounds. That is almost 4 pounds lost since we adopted him early this year.
( BTW, readers may wonder why I note his weight repeatedly. Another characteristic of the breed is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which greatly increases their susceptibility to heart attacks. So I am not going to let him stay overweight. )

Re: Cat pics
Oh, then I guess my cat is also a Brit!
Weird, since he doesn't seem to answer to commands in English (and barely Spanish or Catalan, so it won't make much difference)

It is hard to tell, because the only pic of him is head-on and blurred. Please post another one.RBerenguel wrote:Oh, then I guess my cat is also a Brit! ...

Re: Cat pics
Well, it was an assumption given description, shape and pose. I don't have any current picture of him "sitting" and he somehow identifies tools that take pictures and avoids them... I'll try to catch him unaware tomorrowJoaz Banbeck wrote:It is hard to tell, because the only pic of him is head-on and blurred. Re: Cat pics
This is Griffin, wishing a Merry Christmas to everyone on L19.
He likes Christmas. When he hears people singing "...Oh, come let us adore him...", he thinks that they are singing about him.
