I'd like to work on my Korean pronunciation. I have a couple ideas, but I could use the help of a native Korean speaker.

-------
idea #1:
-------

Is there anyone that would be willing to record themselves reading short paragraphs in Korean, and then posting or e-mailing the .mp3/audio file?

What I would propose is using the first paragraph from random articles on: http://baduk.chosun.com/

-------
idea #2
-------

Alternately, if someone could dig up the ISBN for an audio book (on CD) in Korean and the ISBN for the matching paperback, I could also get a lot of mileage out of that. (un-abridged please)

If I can get ISBNs, I can get the book direct from korea.

---

Or, any other ideas?
(I've thought of buying movies with Korean dialog and Korean subtitles, but that would get expensive fast.)

If the podcast has a text transcript of what's been said, in hangul, then that would be awesome.

Otherwise, my vocabulary isn't good enough to transcribe audio.

I think that an easy way to get materials to study on your own is to practice listening to some Korean songs. Pick a Korean song that you like, and do a google search for the song title along with "가사", which means "lyrics".

If you like girly bands, for example, you can practice with "Gee" by 소녀시대. When I googled for "Gee 가사", the first result gave some lyrics.

Of course, you can pick a more manly song, if you'd prefer.

Oh, and it's typically easy to find music videos for a lot of popular songs on YouTube. So you can practice listening easily.

I tried searching for videos that were in Korean AND had Korean subtitles, but I didn't find anything cool. I didn't try that long, though, so maybe you can be more successful.
