Coworkers and I spent two hours in line to each get a $2 pair of sunglasses to watch the eclipse. Great use of company time... |

We're small enough that we gave out one pair per onsite employee, for free. My wife and kids showed up and we ended up getting another two pairs that I hadn't expected. It worked out pretty well, as I had bought four pairs we didn't trust from Amazon (they were sufficiently dark, but I was scared of the UV protection). |

Two coworkers had a pair of the glasses, so we swapped back and forth between a group of us. 95% coverage where I was. Definitely cool to see. But did make me regret not driving the few hours it would have taken to get to totality. Oh well. |
