Hello guys,

I am very sorry to trouble you with such problems, but I really need your help. My computer has recently began to act weird. Suddenly, when I am watching a movie or playing go, blue screen appears, and this appears too '' Windows has detected a problem and needs to restart. ''

The blue screen continue to stay for 10 - 20 second and then the PC restarts!

That makes me really angry every time! My operating system is Windows 7, please, please help!

Thank you!
Best Regards
Stef

That sounds like a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)
I haven't had one since I installed win 7, but had quite a few with Vista.

There is usually an error code displayed. Write this down and do a search on google for the error to get more info and hopefully a solution.
If the PC restarts too quickly to read the error code you can disable the auto restart (how is explained here)

If you have restore points you might be able to restore the PC to before the broblems began

sometimes bad hard disk will cause that.
if it is hard-disk then you need to change it.

Hmmm ... it's been a while since I did any Crash Dump Analysis ...

Do you happen to know if there are any files in the following directory? "C:WINDOWSMinidump"

Any files here would be put there as a result of your Blue Screen error. If you can grab those files and attach them here, someone might be able to look at the dump and see if they can tell you where the error is.

The most common thing that causes these crashes are, in my experience, driver errors. Since you mention watching videos, it could be that you need to update your graphics card drivers.

hi Stef, switch off the computer when you play go might help :)
But seriously when I had your problem I suspected the powersupply ( overheating it ?? ). I wasted lots of time at it but never found the solution.

<edit> test

Wow, I was liked for the first time in my L19x19 life and that by a 17 years old girl. Not bad for an old man.
Stefany, you are super.
