It only looks contrived if you think it's actually go... when in reality, this was probably intended to be a seedy Gomoku den

Have now advance another few hours in the plot and the place is repeatedly refered to as the 'Go parlor' or the 'Go club'. |

I watched episode the same yesterday  They were really playing Go out there. And then Jack came and hit the Goban. Seems he didn't like the game

I remember seeing igo in Criminal Minds a few weeks ago. The suspect played igo and they were relating his play style to his personality; it was pretty neat. |
