Here it would seem. At least L19 seems to have suffered some sort of deep freeze, or even a cryogenic mutation brought on by the AI virus. We should rename the site from Life on 19x19 to Frozen on 19x19. The snow's here in the real world, too, of course. You may know the famous Glasgow novel Trainspottin'. Train spotters don't have all the fun there. Gritting lorry name spotters come into their own at this time of year, as all Gritters Great and Small have names, which include the following courtesy of my local Caledonian Society): Plougher of Scotland, Sir Salter Scott and his cousin Tam o’ Salter, Robert Brrrns, Frosty the Snow Van, Far’s A the Sna, Sir Chilly Connolly, Sir Andy Flurry, Grit The Road Jack, Blizzard of Oz, Haddo Nuff O the Sna, Mary Queen of Salt, Charles Rennie Mackinslush, William Wall-ice, Gonnae Snow Dae That, and Gritsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Anti-Slip Machiney Surprised not to see Sir Sean Connery there (Gritted not shaken?), or True Grit, or Nae Skiddin', but if you can thaw enough to suggest some more, I'll pass them on. Yes, I know this has nothing to do with go. But neither does the L19 site at present. |

This post of John Fairbanks made me shiver. I'll have an extra cup of hot tea. |
