Anyone know why Alexandra Kostenuik isn't taking part of the tournament? Has she lost already? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?

Thank you for the reply, buddy. It is a pity she lost her title, but I think her nickname '' chessqueen '' deserves the credit for her failure.


P.S - Let's hope she won't become ''goqueen '' :lol:

The final is Hou Yifan vs Lufei Ruan. Hope it goes to tiebreaks, where Ruan has proved to be a monster. But I'm still pulling for the teenager.

Seems that the Chinese was grow strong in chess as well as Go. God save Europe now :D

I am on Hou Yifan's side, but either victory is fine with me :tmbup:

About Judit Polgar I think she is a making a mistake for not taking part in women tournaments. I have read somewhere that she wants to prove that women and men are equal in chess and that the women can compete with men as equals. Good enterprise, but her results are disaster. Every time she takes part in a claimant tournament for the world title, she drops out from the first games.

What do you expect from people? I do not see how you can call anybodies chess results a "disaster" when they have been number 10 on the world rating list, like Judit Polgar. Male or female, not many players ever reach that level...
