Recently stumbled onto these wonderful off-the-cuff videos at chessvibes.com One of my favorites is the lengthy McShane vs Carlsen review (think its the second video): http://www.chessvibes.com/reports/london-chess-classic-the-players-interviews/#more-33271 Nineteen episodes in all anywhere from ten to thirty minutes long. If you enjoy chess too do yourself a favor and check these out! Here also are some wonderful pics of the players (some of the black and white photographs are classics): http://raymorris-hill.smugmug.com/Sports/Chess/London-Chess/14970362_99rGa#1121518113_B6Neu And last but not least some awesome piano jazz just because: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=92185496

Happy Holidays

Thanks for that. I'm a huge Bill Evans fan, and I'd never heard that. I never bought it because, well, it's just an interview, but I'd always wanted to hear it.

Thanks! (But for half a second I actually hoped for autopsies of players instead of postmortems of games. )

You are the wild man your avatars advertise you to be aren't you! I'll bet you'd be a fun guy to be around when the ball drops (so to speak) in another 90000 seconds or so :batman: Glad you liked the link anyway, false advertising aside.

Piano jazz is one of my top three flavors when it comes to music and I've not heard anybody do it better then Bill. Marian McPartland has done so many fantastic shows its not easy to keep track of them all, but this one will probably always be my favorite. Sounds as though you have a fairly good collection of Evans music, would be most appreciative of any recommendations you might like to toss my way. This is all I have:
