Just walk to the other side! Serious answer: Three, and I think there are three possible locations where the resulting shape could be. (i.e., there's three ways to do it)

None; once placed, a stone may not be moved (except when captured). That is the weight of a stone. That aside, this puzzle was in one of the Lufia RPGs on SNES. Haven't forgotten it since then.

To me, moving the bottom stone to the top right is a different action than moving the same stone to the top left. But, yes, I am kind of trolling.
