So, as everyone probably knows, I'm a huge sports fan. I follow: American football, international football, basketball, and occasionally hockey and baseball. It's something I like to talk about. Since this is the Off Topic section, and with it being a very multicultural forum, it makes sports talk a lot more fun. However, the Super Bowl is a bit of a disappointment this year. I was hoping the Packers would repeat, but that isn't going to happen. I'm sure Aaron Rodgers will walk away with the MVP award regardless. Instead, we get to see a 2008 Super Bowl rematch between the Giants and the Patriots. The result of that game was a 17-14 win for the Giants. I predict the Patriots get revenge this year. But, anyway, now to the REAL interesting part of this topic. The Olympics and Euro 2012! Looking forward to it. I'm probably not the only one saying this, but I think Germany will take Euro 2012. As for the Olympics, too early to say. For the women's side, however, I'm quite positive the USA will do well. I think they'll avenge their World Cup loss to Japan. Of course, if they lose to Costa Rica they won't even make it! So, what are y'alls opinions? Which sporting event are you looking forward to the most: Euro 2012 or the Olympics? Or possibly even the Super Bowl? |

I'm a big sports fan too. The main sports I follow are Tennis and Boxing, but keep up to date on most everything else too. The event I'm most looking forward to is Mayweather vs Pacquiao (although I doubt it will ever happen). In the meantime I'm having fun watching the Australian Open. Looking forward to the Olympics too. |

Looking forward to the Olympics too. In terms of combat sports, I prefer MMA like the UFC. However, I follow Pacquiao, and a fight between him and Mayweather would be spectacular. If I had to pick one of them to win, I'd say Pacquiaio. That man is amazing. |
