It's sort of funny as I have zero friends (at all)* and I'm glad about it since they'd just be a waste of time. - I should get some points for that surely.

* other than family members.

Darn. I just failed the depression test too. What happened to me?????

Major Depression: Very Slight
Dysthymia: Very Slight
Bipolar Disorder: Very Slight
Cyclothymia: Very Slight

An excessive love of Go, small dogs, and Japanese sake! The rest of that stuff I have no interest in.

But I think the test is not very accurate. For example this:

Quote:
- Have you had recurrent thoughts of suicide?

- If you answered yes to the previous question, do you tend to have these suicidal thoughts during and after a break-up with someone?

Actually I should have answered the first of these questions with “yes” because 30 years ago, when I was in my mid-twenties, I did have recurrent suicidal thoughts.

But because the second question is in present tense, I answered no to the first one.

I believe this test is not thougth out well, also because it’s just too easy to cheat—just reply with “no” to all questions ;-)

I am too paranoid to do this test on line.

I'm "low" everything but "moderate" for schizoid and narcissistic.

In reality, I would say that the most likely mental issue for me would be something on the mild end of autistic/asperger's...but I guess that's a given for most people who are fans of something as nerdy and obsessive as go. (On second thought, would that be a personality disorder? Probably not, so I guess that was completely beside the point.)

This describes me too.

So WMS tests as "moderate" for narcissistic. So do I. So does Topazg. Are all people who want to be admins/mods slightly narcissistic?

Or are we all aspies?

Then you must be quite depressed if you are low in every respect
.

Heh :-D

Actually I had a long (2 years) depression episode about a year ago, along with severe insomnia. Trigger was that I had to give up my last job. Took therapy. Then, last year I began doing things I liked … among these was playing Go again, after a hiatus of over ten years. Doing things I liked improved my condition a LOT … then founding a regular Go workshop at the local school and thus being able to work with people again really gave me a boost.
