I can understand Mark Steere getting banned, but what did Robert Jasiek do to deserve banning?

Are you sure he was banned? If you look up their user profiles, Mr. Steere of the adult-themed photo gallery is labelled a restricted user, but RJ's profile just say 'registered user'. (Not that I will shed tears either way, just trying to get the facts straight.)

Robert is a difficult case. On the one hand he has valuable contributions and means well. On the other hand the amount of thread derailments he caused or triggered is unparalleled.
