Zemi is just a little bit short, so to speak, small-ish and compact, plus the fact that half of her tail was amputated makes her look somewhat odd. And then that iPhone perspective. She ain’t fat. Dare you say she’s fat. We will kill you.

A lizard has taken to sunning itself regularly on the ledge just outside of our living room window.
Griffin, our other cat, freaks out when he does it. I don't know if the lizard is too dumb to recognize a remorseless predator just inches away, or smart enough to realize that the glass protects him.

If you look past the cat, you can see a black table with numerous claw marks on it - from Griffin trying to get enough traction to push though the window. ( It is safety glass. He can't hurt himself )

A distant relative sends us cheese/fruit baskets every Christmas. Usually we toss the basket soon after, having eaten all the goodies.

Two years ago, Griffin started napping in it just before we threw it away. So we let him keep it. Falstaff soon became jealous. So we saved the most recent one for him.
