As many of you will know already, the European Go Congress 2017 will take place in Oberhof, Germany, from July 22 to August 6.
As one of the organizers, I wanted to start a new thread to invite you all to this big event, provide you current information and give you a place to discuss about the congress.

To start with, here some collected information that might be handy to find at one place:

- The conference webpage is http://www.egc2017.eu (English language)
- The key information are available there in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian and German, as well.
- We have a mailing list that provides you regularly with updates on the congress. Just sign up by clicking on the button at the bottom of the congress web page.
- We have made two promotional videos that you can watch on Youtube (English language with some subititle options):

Registration is running very well, with more than 500 people registered already, indicating a rather large European Go Congress.
