In the July edition of the European Go Journal, you will find an article by Zack Garrett, Ph.D. in Philosophy. Zack draws an analogy between the strategies of chess and go, and the arguments employed in the Eastern and Western philosophies, illustrating the Eastern approach with examples from games of go.

The July edition of the European Go Journal is now published!

A major part of this issue is dedicated to the European Go Congress 2022, which recently took place in Vatra Dornei, Romania. Besides, this time we published two philosophical articles and even an article dedicated to a go-themed computer game called "The Last Secret"!

A stunning drawing for the cover was made by Vitaliia Kalmutska.
