In the November 2022 edition of the European Go Journal, we plan to publish a detailed interview with Benjamin Dréan-Guénaïzia 7d, this year's European Champion individually and in Pair Go.

This month Shin Jinseo 9p won another major professional competition - the 27th Samsung Cup. In the final match, he beat Choi Jeong 9p - the first female professional to reach the final of this tournament.

On the way to the final, Choi Jeong defeated such top professionals as Ichiriki Ryo 9p, Yang Dingxin 9p, and Byun Sangil 9p.

In the November edition of the European Go Journal, you will find a review of the second and deciding game of the match between Shin Jinseo and Choi Jeong, played on November 8th.

The Grand Slam tournament, the most prestigious European go event with a winner’s prize of €10.000, took place in Niš, Serbia, on December 1st - 4th.

Jonas Welticke 6d demonstrated great performance and won this year’s Grand Slam, defeating three professional players on the way to this success.

In the November & December edition of the European Go Journal, you will find commentary on the final game, in which Jonas beat Pavol Lisy 2p.
