At the end of January, Shin Jinseo 9p won two games straight in the match for the 28th LG Cup and thus claimed another international title. Shin's opponent in the final match was his compatriot Byun Sangil 9p. In the January edition of the European Go Journal, you will find commentary on the second and deciding game between Shin and Byun.

Besides, we plan to include in this issue a brief interview with Kim Dohyup 7d, the winner of the recent TIGGRE - Ellie Cup in Grenoble, and Artem's commentary on his game against Fredrik Blomback 7d played in the Pandanet European Team Championship.
