The 11th World Students Go Oza Championship will be held from Feb 25 to March 1, 2013, in Tokyo.

A total of 16 students will participate in the championship in Tokyo, including two from the Americas and three from Europe. A preliminary tournament using Pandanet to select the two American representatives will be held on Dec 9 (Sun).

The number of rounds depends on how many people will participate in the tournament. For example, if eight people participate, then there will be three rounds held on Dec 9. The start time is 9am on Dec 9 (PST).

For the winners, the organizers will cover their airfare and accommodations to Tokyo.

So far there are 13 entries from the Americas; more will be welcomed.

Entry form is here: https://sec.pandanet.co.jp/event/igooza ... s/form.htm
University/College students under the age of 30 who are nationals of North, Central, or South Americas may register for the selection tournament. Graduate students are excluded

The application deadline is Nov 25th.

I stand corrected. Kaliwan is right, you do not have to hold a citizenship of an American country.
