For me, it depends upon whether I play black or white. In the latter case, it’s “them black ***holes”; in the former, “my preciousss”.

When comes to assigning names, the RFC suggests names from mythology, but a lot of admins use cartoon characters or animals. I'm partial to using Pokemon myself.

As for the term handicap as it relates to Sports and Gaming i.e. "A race or contest in which contestants are given advantages or compensations to equalize the chances of winning" I don't see an issue. If someone does, maybe they need to buy a dictionary.

Win or lose, things are much more relaxed these days on the go board. It's real life that's stressful.
