Who downloads the games?

Post by bleep »

Hi,

Every time I see a game posted here on L19, I notice that it's been downloaded hundreds of times. A random game between two 17kyu's, or a game between high dans seems to make no difference, so I was just wondering what that was about? Anyone know?

If the game is embedded, then each loading of the page counts as a download. Mystery solved. Try refreshing a page with an embedded game. The download count will increment by one.

That doesn't happen when I do it but it would make a lot of sense if it was true.
