It depends. If you are trying to make a base, and have other stones in the area, you should drop down. If you are trying to start a fight or be light, you should double approach or something else. I recommend eidogo.com to find more variations.

Thanks for recommending http://eidogo.com/. Strangely, this variation was missing last time I checked before making this thread, but when I checked again just now, it is there. May be there is a bug, or may be it's just me .
