Thanks for Go World

It was announced on these boards some time ago that Go World was ceasing publication after issue number 129. I just received that issue and was thinking about how much Go World has meant to me. Warm thanks and congratulations to Richard Bozulich and the whole Go World team! I have been a subscriber for over 30 years and have all the issues, which occupy a place of honor on my book shelves. I doubt that I will ever tire of browsing through the issues, playing through a great game here and there and enjoying the photographs. Go World constitutes the most important go literature outside the Asian go countries and it has had an immeasurably huge effect on the development of go in the West.

I bought the 3 DVD set recently and have barely begun to read through the first few issues.

I think I would have loved the actual magazines even more, but this might be the only option left for new players
