I just found this interesting game while organising the old Chinese Tianyuan games. It contains a dual ladder breaker that is different from the normal ones. In this case, the two ladders are facing each other:

White's move lets him rescue one of the two groups. As it turned out, white rescued the bottom group, but to no avail. A scant 23 moves later, black killed off that corner and white promptly resigned. Was this also a contestant for the shortest pro game of the year?
Patience, grasshopper.

Re: a special dual ladder breaker
I just finished the section "Offering a strategic choice" in Jasiek's "Fighting Fundamentals". The concept is obviously applicable here and it should be essential for my clear and profound strategic understanding. Well, with or without this concept it is clear to me that to understand the position one should consider the effects of both possible continuations offered to black.
I think I am so I think I am.
