Free, Game-Collection E-books: Interest & Feedback

Post by logan »

I don't know whether there is any interest for the creation of free, game-collection e-books of specific players. I've attached an example below. Would you be interested in an optional 50-move diagram version (a diagram for each 50-moves); is the Event and Round information important to you (sometimes it's too wordy and pushes the game diagram to the next page creating an unpleasant aesthetic); is there any additional information you would like (such as a page of player stats) or would you just like a clean game collection only?

Sure, I'd like it

As for the additional information and layout:
- I think the 50 move diagrams are easier to read
- Additional information is fine, those who don't like it can skip it

Game collection e-books are something I would occasionally use. Like many people here I have access to games in a database, but an ebook would give me another way to play through some games.

If it's not too much work for a free book, I'd be particularly interested in a table of contents that clearly listed all of the games and marked a few that were particularly significant and/or representative of the player. I would definitely use the e-books if they denoted the top ten games of a particular player, even if that only represented one person's opinion.
